Well, it's been an exciting afternoon, Tet! Nice to be back even with the few issues. Jordan - I know you are working hard to fix things! Appreciate you!!

I've gotta run. Tonight is the Freshman orientation meeting. Yep, my little girl starts high school in the fall! Yikes!!

(((All in need or not)))
Hope it went well. Those four years will be over before you can blink.

Tonight was Senior awards night for my youngest.

Little dude stood up so much to get awards I thought he was going to get gaulded.

His momma did something right raising him.

Played three sports for four years, top 20 senior, has been number one in class for first three years (waiting on exams to see if he is valedictorian)

Yeah I'm proud.

I cleaned my humble abode today. And I think I saw the first bug of spring scampering up my wall! A stinkbug, a roach? I'm not sure. He wasn't cute, or green. On instinct, I gave him a high five. One of them high fives that sends you straight to hell! There's no contract, I'm not sub leasing to these guys.

I looked in the mirror. Rather pleased with what I saw. Call me vain, but I'm looking damn fine these days. My daily work outs combined with this oppressive sun has firmed and tanned my formerly junk-withered flesh into a frakin Doc Savage.

Ayuh, kind of a midlife crisis going on here.
Hey you! It's so good to 'see you'... now go on an' get yourself over to the Selfie thread so we can have a gander at the new you! :biggrin2:

That's awesome for your kiddo!! I'll bet his daddy did a few things right, too!

It went fine. Just some helpful info to get us and the kids ready to adjust. There are 1,700 students at this high school!

1700?!?

My older children had around 1400 in school when they went. They finished in Top 20 as well but not number one. Baby boy never mentions that to them. :biggrin-new:

New high school was built and now there are around 750 at this time. The older ones say that is the only reason he has done so well.

Yeah they love each other.

I need to borrow your mirror. What I see in my mirror would scare the bejesus out of anyone. :)

Boy, you leave for a few days and everything changes. Am I in the right place? ;)

I have had a busy few days. We spent Memorial Day weekend on a road trip exploring 7 waterfalls of the Olympic Peninsula (in and around the Olympic National Forest and Hoh Rainforest aka Endor). Then, last night, we went to see Weird Al on his vanity tour (only performing original material except a medley toward the end). I have a good life but boy am I ever tired!

Here are some photos from my waterfall weekend and the Weird Al show for anyone interested. Just a few of the 5,000 or so photos we took.
