Hi Neesy!!! Nice pic! I see you and I share the same type of ceiling- I did mine in tongue-and-groove pine a few years ago in my living room and kitchen areas. They have such a nice warm patina to them, such a warm glow.

I must say...shirt shopping this year was quite something. So many choices! I must have been on that site for 30 minutes trying to decide. But then, following the "theme" this year, I went back. (haha!) I got an extra shirt that I'm not going to need so if by chance someone comes up short, I will have a spare.
Also, I have an item I could donate to the door prize thing if it's needed. Who do I talk to about that? Jeez...I am so far behind and out of the loop this time around. (and admit I have not read this whole thread)

Have you been to Maine before? i.e. were you at the first King Kon in 2013? I'm really looking forward to seeing the sights!

Door prizes are still welcome! Might be easier to just bring it with you as I'll be on vacation next week and wouldn't want it to get mixed up with fan mail. Also, the menu for Saturday night at the Oriental Jade has been selected by yours truly-It will run approx. $23 a head and is buffet style....I know it sounds pricey, but the cheaper version gave little choice in variety.....

It's Kon week!!! Two days until I start my trek to Maine!!
We're flying thru La Guardia and arriving mid afternoon in Bangor on Wednesday! Thursday, I think my mom wants to just explore, then Friday we'll be shopping and resting up for the Cookout! Whoohoo!!
It looks like the weather is going to be perfect! Sunny and mid 80s in the day, low humidity and in the 50s at night, so good sleeping temps!! So excited! I already have tentative plans to meet up with one member before the big shindig kick off. If anyone else is coming in early and wants to catch up, just send me a PM and we can exchange info.

I'm not saying that we'll all get drunk and storm their house;
Lurk outside their gates and snap some "selfies" with our spouse,
I just think, if I were them, that I'd head to the beach
Far away from anywhere a drunken fan could reach.
Not that I'm suggesting something or that I believe
