OOh, this maybe isn't a terribly popular book but it was praised by critics, "Little Brother" (I forget the authors name but he doesn't deserve to be mentioned) the first act of this book is fairly decent and actually readable, then the main character meets this girl and abandons all his friends just to get her. The main protagonist is a total asshat to his friends and everyone around him just to get all lovey-dovey with this stupid girl.
The book is trying to go for a 1960's type revolution vibe but ultimately fails at it, all the pop culture references to the 60's Andrew modern day feel really forced
"Hey guys! Remember "Steal this Book"? Well guess what Mr. Knowitall's girlfriend is reading?"
"Hey I heard you Millineals like Xbox, well guess what? Mr. Knowitall likes Xbox too!"
"Larping is pretty cool right?"
It's just a dumb edgy book meant to appeal to 2008 teens that trys to be cool and "revolutionary".
