Thanks to everyone - unfortunately I still don't know what is causing it - I do have an appointment today at 2:30. (Walk-in clinic was completely booked up by 10:45 and I would have had to come back after 2:30). It feels better if I raise it up higher than my heart, plus yesterday I took Advil (to start off with) following by one Tylenol 3 and then at a pharmacist's suggestion, switched to Aleve which has naproxen in it.
It never occurred to me that it could be a DVT - yikes! Perhaps the doctor will prescribe blood thinners?
It just makes me appreciate how nice it is to have good mobility - keeping my fingers crossed it is just a temporary problem. Thanks again for the good wishes

Just popping in quick. Hubby is on nights so we are off to vote soon so he can sleep. Then I have to pick Ty up at school for a dental checkup.
Ali's eye checkup went well. She has gotten her right eye to 20/40 with the patching exercises. Doc said to continue if she wants. I wish he hadn't said "if you want to" because I think it is definitely worth keeping on with. He also suggested another exercise, with beads at intervals on a string that she holds from her nose straight out in front of her, then making her eyes focus from one bead to the next and back again. I really like this eye doctor. I really liked our last one, too. But he retired. This doc was hand picked to carry on the practice and I very much approve.
I am due for a checkup too but am holding out until the new year, but I am very anxious to hear what ideas he has for my eyes and the problems my thyroid issue has caused with them.
Cooking early tonight and then hopefully I will find some gas in the tank to get a few chores done.

I had my interview for the teaching position at the immigration center this morning. I feel like it went well, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I REALLY WANT THIS JOB!!!

Had a nightmare last night... And i'm blaming the writers of this years Halloween story!! I dreamed My door was suddenly knocked down and a big shaggy werewolf jumped in and attacked me. It was on top on me and was inches from ripping my throat out when somehow i had a knife in my hand and thrust it deep into its stomach!! It gave a groan and then some intestines fell out. I pushed it away bleeding from many clawmarks all over my body But it was dead. Now, my question to you is: It gave me a small bite in one leg and many clawmarks.... Will i turn into a werewolf too? Or do i make it because i killed it?

I apologize for your nightmare, it was spillover from my nightmare stress.
I tried making tacos last Tuesday. I never made them before but it was the worst tacos I ever ate probably because I drained all the fat from the beef.(((all in need or not)))
...it means you better stock up on wolf chow and Lycan kibble.....
Dont worry about it. I have already blamed it on a coworker who dressed up as a werewolf for a Halloween party. She showed us pics this monday. Butnow i think of it she managed to look cute and as a werewolf at the same time. There certainly was nothing cute about the beast in my dream. She just laughed and said it was my fault for giving her the idea when she asked for advice on what to dress like. It is true i suggested a werewolf and some shadows for hair, possibly some dark hair glued on the hands, and yellow contacts. Except for the hair she followed my idea. She definitely made the cutest werewolf i ever saw.
Dont you think i would make a good werewpöf? I can feel the moon speaking to me.....
