You and I are on the same page. Natural beauty is much more appealing. Plus, what you see is what you get. Back in pre-'industrial revolution' Europe it was the fellows who were the dandies, wearing powdered wigs, silk stockings, high-heeled shoes, facial rouge, etc...

And this is why I told my husband not to marry me. I'm a painted lady and a golem without. I told him he should marry a naturally pretty girl.

I think he's starting to realize he should have paid more attention to the stuff going on above the chest.

Personally, I do it all for my own enjoyment.....Hair, Nails, Makeup, Clothing......it's all for me. I had a husband once who tried to dictate how to wear my hair, and what kind of clothes I wore. He didn't hang around very long......I guess he couldn't handle an independent woman who likes to think for herself. :laugh:
