Disclaimer: this isn’t actually meant to challenge the rules or why the song was removed, or Ms. Mod’s authority, just thought I’d throw it out there

The whole anti-communist song wasn’t meant to challenge anyone’s political views or even state mine. I realize that the song challenged American politics in the later half, but it’s also a piece of historical media that represents the days during the Cold War, the song is 52-3 years old, and although it’s political motivations and ideals are still very much alive, the actual political events aren’t. My point is it’s a song that represents what 60’s Cold War era politics were like, not something meant to offend or challenge anyone’s actual beliefs.

I’m not a person who politically sides, or thinks lesser of people who don’t politically agree with me. It’s a free country, you should vote for who and what you want. It was also posted ironically, the whole joke being that the song was really anti-communist from a point in time when the spread of communism was a big topic.

(I apologize if this falls under the no-politics rule)

The video had already been removed earlier by Ms. Mod, so posting it again into a different thread is where you were getting close to crossing the MB rules line.
Videos containing political images/video content will be removed because we no longer have an area of the board where politics are allowed, thank you for your understanding.
