The morning glories, nasturtiums, parsley, chives, oregano, lettuce, and daisies have all sprouted!!!
I had plenty of pots, but I did run out of dirt......twice! ;-D
I'll send pics when the plants are big enough to see. I know you're especially eager to see the daisies!
Thanks again!!

Good morning,

We have had an expensive few days. Evan had 2 flats on his car. Not just flat but ruined. Punctured in the sidewall. He says he did not run anything over and school says no one approached his car in the parking lot based on cameras. Had to buy him a new tire and will need to buy another so he still has a spare.

Miss Cookie had an allergic reaction to a new collar we bought her. Have been following vet advice (just phone advice) for 2 weeks, giving her antihistamine for itching and keeping her neck bandaged. But she got her bandage off yesterday and scratched her poor neck raw again, it was 85% healed! RAW. It was a bloody mess and so were her paws. So a trip to the vet. Antibiotic and pain meds given and a creme to put on her poor neck. She is rebandaged and they told us to get booties so she cannot scratch but they do not stay on. She is less than impressed with us right now but she also does not want to be away from us. Our poor Cookie!

And it is snowing. *$!%#@!! Where is that stupid little groundhog hiding out?

;)

Have a really great day. Big hugs abd positive vibes to all! :love_heart:

Glad you'll be kept busy and out of trouble. ;):)

And, regarding daisies weeds...

Both the leaves and petals of the nasturtium plant are packed with nutrition, containing high levels of vitamin C. It has the ability to improve the immune system, tackling sore throats, coughs, and colds, as well as bacterial and fungal infections. They also contain high amounts of manganese, iron, flavonoids, and beta carotene. Studies have shown that the leaves also have antibiotic properties, and suggest that they are the most effective prior to flowering.

I figured you might like some for the next batch of witch’s brew you conjure up. :)

Hey, you bought the seeds......that tells me that you either really like daisies, or that I've touched your old cold heart. Either way, I'm sending you daisy pics! :cheerful:
Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that I put some of the sunflower seeds in amongst the banana trees. They've started growing nicely.

Did you ever think I sent them to you because I just wanted those weeds out of my sight? And I didn't buy them. They were in a batch they just wanted to get rid of as it was too much work to resort and restock them. :)

Sounds like the tires may have been defective. This happened to me a few years ago, and the place I bought the tires replaced them. Wouldn't hurt to ask.

Poor Cookie........she'll need lots of love and cuddles while she recovers.

And as for the snow?........if you find that darn groundhog, purification by fire might be in order!

Hope the week gets better for you ♥

Healing vibes for Cookie. Allergic reactions can be severe. May it heal quickly.
