LOL. Is that Bill the Butcher? Bill was one of my ancestor’s archenemy. Bill ended up dead... Morrissey got off from the charges and went on to become a NY State Senator and then a member of the US House of Representatives. I guess sometimes crime does pay. :)
Yep, that's the butcher. One of my favorite movies. Cool story about your ancestors. That historical era in that area is fascinating.

Hello everyone!!

Been a while since I have been here on this board, so much have happened in my life lately. I started my summer vacation about 4 weeks ago and return back to work next week. I have really enjoyed this vacation, I have reading books, spending time with my dogs and my horse. Watching movies, sunbathing (those days when it's been warm of course) swimming and chilling out. The weather was great when I started my vacation. Sunshine and 25 Celsius almost everyday, now it
seems that summer ended suddenly for some reason, this week so far has been cloudy and 13 Celsius. But hopefully we still get some sunny days.

Yes and I have met a new boyfriend too. We have been dating since last month. He is nice and very handsome man too if I may say. His name is
Timo, he working as a personal trainer in our local gym. This might lead into something. Who knows.

Life is otherwise well. I try to start to live my life as a one dog owner. Thankfully I still got that horse.

Hope all else are doing well. Have really missed you friends, but life keeps me busy even on the vacation.

Take care and be well. Please stay safe too!!

No good can come from salami pizza... especially when you're trying to sleep. :)

Good morning, Tet!! Hope you all had a great week. I was at the beach with family, but working half days doing month end reporting. Once i was done working, I was off computer, so never checked in last week. But thought of you all and hope everyone had a great week where ever you were.

This is our crazy busy month. Taking daughter on a quick vacay this long weekend, then to the mountains for a week with my mom. Back home for another party, then back down to the mountains for a family reunion. Then in August, I hope to rest. LOL May you all have a wonderful day!!! (((SKMB))) :love_heart:

Sounds like a marathon.
Don't forget to buy an oxygen tent for august :tounge:

Sorry to hear this

Thanks I am felling a bit better... til trying hard no to play the what happen or why game in my head.. I t is very hard to stop this thinking pattern.. I am
going to see if i can get a job as like a mail clerk or something like data entry or something. retail is not for me. My manager said that picking peoples groceries is not for me, i think it was i was just to slow, and they did not want to put in some more time with me. also i cant help but to wonder if it had anything to so with my anxiety disorder, perhaps they saw me as a risk. the store is unionized and once i got on as permanent staff it would have been very hard for superstore to get rid of me so i am thinking that my manager saw me as a risk as soon as i got hired as a regular staff. for those not in Canada superstore or loblaws is a large national grocery store in the same competition as Walmart. and my store was the size as a Walmart super center...
she mentioned my anxiety when she said that i was not a good fit for the job, which i know is stupid as IO could have done the job if they were just a bit more patient with me. but then she could have gotten pressure from her manager ie the store manager
