My mother is a bit toxic. She used to nag me about anything and everything. None of the women in my father's family were skinny and those genes got passed on to me. My mother used to make comments about my weight even if I just gained a few pounds. That was how I developed an eating disorder. I'm back to a healthier weight now. I don't starve myself anymore.

It it's not one thing it's a mother. Glad you're healthier now. It's all about the book for me, not the book cover. All the best, mal

Help, please. This may sound like a crazy question, but I've only ever had green bell peppers, not yellow. Can I substitute green for yellow in my meatloaf and still get similar flavor? I'm trying to utilize all the food in my produce box from farmer's market. Thanks, yo!
Are you using onions and celery also? Just add a tad more of each to balance the flavor back to what green peppers would give. Yellow peppers are fine, just have a sweeter taste. Enjoy the new experience.

Thanks. No, not using celery but I am using onion. Apparently red, yellow, and orange are no substitute for the green but I'm going to take your advice and use the yellow. Maybe I will like it as much or better. (I guess I could cut open the yellow and just taste it...you know me, I'm a genius.) ;)

:biggrin2: Like Ms. Spidey said, usually sweeter. Let us know what you think once you've tasted it!

I actually have to use yellow, orange, or red peppers for meatloaf, stuffed peppers, or anything else that calls for green peppers. I like the green ones, but they don't like me, and they upset my stomach.
