Does anyone happen to know, maybe Marsha would be the person to ask, if Stephen's books are taught, at any level, in the academic world. Weather that be Schools or Colleges etc. I'm curious about this, and if so, does Steve need to give them permission before they use his work as a set text?
Yes, there are schools out there that have classes dedicated to his work. He doesn't need to give them permission to do that as anything that is educational comes under the fair usage rules.

I believe they read all his work at Castle Rock High School....

men can get away with anything.

Rock that scar like a boss.
Turns out what I thought were 3 lipomas that needed to be removed at the doctor’s office turned out to be 2 lipomas and 1 tumor. Of course the tumor is the one on the face and needs to be operated on right away at a hospital. Going under the knife Thursday. Dear gawd, the rules you need to follow in advance of an operation are ridiculous. Appears the scar might end up being bigger than I thought... Cool! :)

I haven't made it out of the house yet - I'm still reading a good story online called "Sowing Seeds in Danny" :reading:

But - thanks! Sooner or later I will rouse myself and head outdoors :monkey:

Thanks, I'm sure it will go fine. I picked the first surgeon listed in the yellow pages. The wife was crazed when I told her I just went with the first guy on the list and she says I'm too damn lazy to check around and should be worried. I said I'm just being efficient... that I could have gone with Dr. Pepper.. What could go wrong? :)

If you had one on each side you might end up with a "Glasgow smile"

Ohhhh, good luck with that. I hope all is well and everything turns out perfect. Good vibes coming your way. Maybe a plastic surgeon is in your future?

Thanks. No plastic surgeon in my future. At my age a big ole scar is about the only thing that could improve my looks. :)
