Hey everyone,
Just binge watched Episodes 7-9 after taking a few weeks off, and I have to admit, the show feels a little better as we build to the finale. Don't get me wrong, I'm still hoping that someone forgets to close the door and the Mist wipes out the whole cast in Episode 10, but at least we have a little drama now. One observation from Episode 9, however, and a clear missed opportunity (see what I did there with the thread title? ).
Is it just me, or would the members of the Loser's Club be PISSED to see the sewers in this city? I mean, damn, it looks like Grand Central Station down there, actually with fewer rats!
Now, for the missed opportunity. In the scene where
you NEED an "IT" reference right there. I mean good God, they are in the sewers! In the Stephen King universe! All you have to do is have one of them yell up "At least leave us with something to defend ourselves!" Cop takes a penny out of his pocket and flips it down to them. "Use it wisely." Sly grin and fade to black. Hell, I would end the episode right there. Maybe the series!
