    Pet Sematary Remake

I still haven't quite gotten over my resistance to a remake & even if the trailer might change my mind a little, I'm not watching & just skimmed the previous posts because I want to go in 'blind'.

    Pet Sematary Remake

'Tis some groovy artwork. Had a free minute so I did a Google image search. Apparently maybe it's an album cover? Here's the image search results: https://goo.gl/bvBYYu If you scroll down to the 'visually similar images' you may get a more specific idea. :redface-new:

    Pet Sematary Remake

I don't want it. The remake I mean (it's late, I'm sleepy). At this point in time I'm not even trying to keep an open mind about it. Jud & Gage are perfect just as they are....

    Gerald's Game goes to Netflix

Some of yous guyses are so funny! Handcuff sales, Maine real estate, McConaughey as Jesse , & yes Carla Gugino is delicious. I prefer her to Megan Fox in fact. :redface-new: Someone just shared the trailer for this in one of my Facebook groups, it's getting so close!! I know I've...

    Gerald's Game goes to Netflix

Yes, Jessie's childhood memories are some of my favorite parts (particularly the struggles with her mother) & are integral to the story so I hope they don't gloss over or skip them. I don't see how they could since it's kind of the reason for her panic... Hope none of that is spoiler material...

    Finally a Gerald's Game movie!

Apologies if I made work for the Mods... I didn't see any threads under the 'TV & Made-for-TV Movies>Gerald's Game' - I must need to make some adjustment to my view of the new (to me) forum.... ----- In the previous thread I participated in from years ago, we also discussed movies some of us...

    Finally a Gerald's Game movie!

Yay!!! I had to come talk to my peeps about it!! I know I started a thread somewhere a gazillion years ago about wishing for this movie... My followed/watched threads have disappeared since I was here last (haven't been around in a while)... Here's an article in case someone hasn't seen/heard...

    TV: Hulu Announces 11/22/63 Series

I've been pondering looking her up at IMDB & watching some of her other films just because Mr. Nobody has gotten my curiosity piqued. :) Mr. Nobody, you made me laugh right out loud (because I can relate). :-D Maybe her southern-accent-voice *is* on some weird frequency that your TV is...

    TV: Hulu Announces 11/22/63 Series

Maybe it's just the actress not doing a great job of a Texas-southern-accent? I've only ever read (and re-read) "The Mist" as published in "Skeleton Crew"; I liked the movie version of it because the ending was so unexpected & horrific.

    TV: Hulu Announces 11/22/63 Series

I didn't notice the mumbling thing! Perhaps because I watch everything with closed captions/subtitles, which drive some of my friends nuts... But ditto about the book. There's only one time I can recall that I didn't prefer Sai King's written story over the movie & that was "The Mist".

    TV: Hulu Announces 11/22/63 Series

Just thought I'd pop in to say that although I missed many things from the book, I wasn't mad at this production. I was super-doubtful about James Franco, but I think he was okay. Was this Constant Reader over-the-moon-wild (M-O-O-N that spells moon) about this mini-series? Nope, but it was...

Hiya! Not technically a newbie, but it's been a while!

Just thought to come check in when I got the notice on Facebook that the new book is due to be released June 7th. Hope everyone is well! Holly

Hi folks! Where to go for Sai King's current reads?

Oh! Thanks! I haven't done the Twitter thing yet... I got an account & may have tweeted once, I'm not sure... ~giggle~ I'll go follow him? Is that what it's called? But no whipping me with spaghetti noodles, that's the first thing I did & got all the EW articles that I'd been through...

Hi folks! Where to go for Sai King's current reads?

For a couple of years I've been going to the Entertainment Weekly "lists" that Mr. King wrote for reading suggestions & have mostly liked the things I've picked from what he has read. Being the King nerd that I am, I still want to know what he's reading so I can read some of it too. :) Where to...

Now is the time for the Gerald's Game movie!!

Considering the length of time it takes for a movie to be completed & released I'd be happy if someone would just start developing the screen play... :-) I'm going to hold out hope!!! I'd much rather see this on screen before "Cell"-definitely enough zombie movies already... Doing my Rainman...

Now is the time for the Gerald's Game movie!!

Since I enjoyed the "Good Marriage" film so much & the "Shades of Gray" is in theaters, the time is right for 'Gerald's Game'! Anyone agree that the climate couldn't be better?!? Powers that be please make this finally happen!!
