hi im shirley and i have been a fan for as long as i can remember...when my daughter asked me "if you could go anywhere, where is the place you would pick?" i told her Maine...i am 60 years old and i have never been away from my little home town and my daughter just called to tell me she is taking me to maine in march!!! i am so excited!! i know i will never get the chance to meet him but to see the area he writes about will be a joy to me...i may be disabled and not long in this world but i will see the place of 2 of my favorite writers...stephen and tabitha...looking forward to my trip to Maine!!

Awesome!! Remember to pack warm clothes as it will still be chilly up there. The sap will be running, the sun will be higher in the sky and there will be far fewer tourists to deal with. Bangor beckons and the author’s house is just around the corner....
