And puts the "u" back in some of the words. So I guess the UK version of books is necessary because the US version does not have the English accent?

....honey, you send me the postage and I will give you my extra copy of EOW.....I have the first one Mr Mercedes, but hopefully I am able to buy rest of the books too.
It has the usual frantic race to the end with the usual twists and obstacles, but it's still a detective story.Since I couldnt find a thread just on Mr Mercedes (no spoilers, I'm only just over half way)...I thought I'd ask here...I am finding it very...erm...run of the mill...which I don't think I have ever described a Stephen King book as...is it going to get all 'Kingy' at some point? I have put off reading it as I don't like detective stories generally speaking but of course, LOVE SK, which is the only reason I am persevering.
I'd have to check to make sure but it looks like it was done in-house at Scribner. The jacket design was by Jaya Miceli of their Art Department. The back cover illustration was done by Sam Weber. What is the name of the artist who did the 'fish painting/drawing' on the cover of 'End of Watch' as I like it.
