At American Comic Con(s) do you have to pay for guests' autographs?

i'm of two minds on this subject, on the one hand, it sucks to have to pay for stuff like that, but on the other, having to glad handle dozens or perhaps hundreds of people you don't know, some of whom can exhibit very creepy tendencies, and with the prevalence of people who want selfies, which is an even more intimate form of contact with those you don't know, i kind of can't blame them for getting something out of it.

What's a sig worth?

I'm a mad Maiden fan (Up the Irons!!) and have managed to go to every Aussie concert since "The Beast on the Road" tour at the Palace.

Are the sigz of any value other than having a face-to-face with a somewhat worthy idol? F*** Yeah!
Are they worth anything, except filthy lucre, to those who would inherit-or, perhaps, buy-the items in times of death or need?
Absolutely not.

What are memories of good times worth? Everything.
What is their 'For Sale' price?' Nothing.

All experience, memories and, especially, happiness is beyond value.

Just back from Amsterdam Comic Con for the second time. It's only been a few years since we have that type of convention here. Obviously it's not totally like the American Comic Cons which are used to promote new films.

I wondered at signings with stars in America - San Diego is the original one, I believe - do you have to pay for an autograph or is that included with your entrance price?

Here I would never do it, I just find it too expensive. The cheapest price is 20 euro, but mostly it goes up to 25, 35, even more in some cases. I don't know why it has to be that expensive, they don't tell you - you can choose a photo to have it put on though, so it's not entirely JUST the autograph.

How does that work at the American Comic Cons? Anyone here been there, or know somebody who has?

Hey, whoa, dang... Amsterdam Comiccon? Sounds like my kinda happening, Cochise. Yes, please.
