So other than here, are you in a book club? The kind where a book is picked and everyone has to read it and then gather to discuss? I've tried a couple but with both of them the first book turned me off - so I dropped out. I guess I don't want to HAVE to read something.

My cousin and I have this long distance book club - she's in South Dakota and I'm in the south, and we're the only people in it. The rule is - if there is a book one of us absolutely loves and wants to talk about - then the other person MUST read it. This is how I ended up reading Twilight - it was agony. I made her read Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. She made me read The Bronze Horseman (which I loved), and I made her read The Ha-Ha. And so on.... It's kind of fun. We call it Bossy Girls Book Club. I've toyed with the idea of making her read Stephen King, but I don't want to force it - and I have all of you to talk SK with.

I just want to take this time to apologize on the behalf of mankind that you were forced to read Twilight.

No one should have to endure that.
