Yes she is and I've got an idea for a remake of the original film, too. Instead of the famous red Plymouth, Christine's a solid black 1960 Plymouth Fury and she's scary as hell like the new Pennywise is. What do y'all think?

She's beautiful, man. I wish I had some pics of my '60 Fury, but I'm currently restoring it. Found her (my Plymouth) in an auto graveyard.

yeah, I was thinking that could be the song that Christine.....I guess you say "fell in love with".......kinda like Thurston Harris' "Little Bitty Pretty One" in the original movie, and since Christine's original owner died in the movie, I was thinking that I could use my friend as the original owner....if it sounds too dark for me to use my dead friend as Christine's first owner, let me know. But like I said, Christine's first owner did die in the original film.
Sounds like it may be cool. I wonder when we will hear about a remake, we all know it’s coming, pet cemetery and know tommy knockers, so yeh Christine is coming. I wonder if Salem’s lot will come again as well
Yeah, I think we can all agree on the fact that once the new IT came out, it would be a matter of time before all the other films that made King famous in the first place got a remake. I haven't told Mr. King about my idea for the remake of Christine yet, but I fully intend to, though.
Unless it is a recent development, Stephen does not currently own the film rights so he would not be in a position to do or license film rights for a remake.
I have a question concerning film rights: if Mr. King was the one who wrote the book that the film(s) is/are based on, then how does he not have the rights to that production, whether it be the book or the film?
