Hi Ms. Mod.

Thank you very much for getting back to me. I'm trying something else regarding the permission. Once I saw you mentioned that Stephen doesn't own the rights (which is a shame)... I'm thinking maybe the director?

I called the agency the director is part of and have to wait a few hours because I am on the east coast and the branch of his agency is on the west coast.

Hopefully the west coast branch is as nice as the east coast branch was.

Again, thank you for your help in this matter... I really appreciate it.

It wouldn't be the director. It would be either the distributor or the studio that released the film that owns the rights.

You might ask Jerad Walters at Centipede Press. He recently published SALEM’S LOT: STUDIES IN THE HORROR FILM, which includes stills from the miniseries. I assume he acquired the rights to do so, in which case he might be able to point you in the right direction. Google his name and company and you'll find his contact info.

Thank you Bev Vincent!

I just sent over an email and hopefully I do get a response and pointed in the right direction.

I did notice that Warner Bros. is the copyright holder to the miniseries... I left an email with them as well, but it's a generic form that they have on their site. Hopefully by selecting "legal" in their list, they will respond.

Thank you again for your help... any and all help is appreciated!

I think I am going to be taking the legal road on this one. No one at these companies respond to any inquiries... so I looked online for a bit and am going to have a lawyer help me out on this one. It's probably for the best since there are other companies other than Warner Bros. that I will need to get permission from as well. Hopefully the lawyer will be able to cover more ground than me. :)

Everyone that had suggestions... they were and still are very much appreciated... thank you for the help!!

Everyone that has been so welcoming... thank you so much... this seems like a nice community!

Now on to checking out more of this site. :)
