Hello,

Not sure what to say here, but I suppose I should tell you something about myself. I'm from the Netherlands, been reading King for some years now and so far I've enjoyed his works! First book I read was IT, a few years after seeing the film. Have to say, what a great book to start with. Currently I'm reading Doctor Sleep (no spoilers please!).

Something you guys will probably be able to help me out with: where should I ask a question about similarites between E. A. Poe & King? I'm looking for two works (1 of Poe, 1 of King), which contain notable similarites, such as the ballroom (and many other things!) in the Shining refers to the Masque of the Red Death.

Anyway, it's a pleasure to join you guys. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions :)
