Dan Aykroyd Is Apparently Making Some Award-Winning Vodka

I bought a bottle of that crystal head vodka for Beck and she would not even try it because it was unfamiliar. She will try it now that she knows that Dan Aykroyd owns it and it won awards for the best vodka. It is made in our home province of Newfoundland. Thanks Dan for giving much needed employment to Newfoundlanders. Folks, please try this vodka....it is as smooth as silk.

Tis!!!! I drank it and loved it. Now I can brag about Dan using Newfoundland waters for his vodka. I use to brag about Michael J Fox being born here in Edmonton in the hospital where I get my surgery....now that is old hat and I have a new thing lol.

I first heard about it somewhere between 2008-2010 when I had a second job in a liquor store. Should've bought some when I could get a discount! The bottles are very cool too-one of the other employees was collecting them to put lights in to decorate his apartment.

Not a huge vodka fan, but I did try a Cabo Wabo reposado when Sammy Hagar owned the tequila distillery, and you know what - it turned out to be a pretty darn tasty tequila, in addition to having a nice little alliterative name.

....I went to our State Liquor store yesterday to grab a bottle of this deliciousness-and they were out of fifth's, dammit-but HOLY CRAPPOLA!!, that booze is expensive!!!!!...all they had left was a gallon jug, and it was almost 90 bucks!!!...thanks, but no thanks...

I bought a bottle of this stuff when it first came out - Dan Aykroyd was visiting Winnipeg to promote the product a few years back.
(Bottle is still in my liquor cabinet - unopened!)
