I live in Brazil. English is my second language. I enjoy Mr. King's books a lot, and have read several of them. I'm a teacher, and at present I'm taking a post-grad course on English -Portuguese translation. In a recent exercise, the professor gave us two pages of Mr. King's "On Writing". On page 7 of the book, where Mr. King describes the egg-eating dare part, he uses the expression "Eula-Beulah laughed, then went upside my head, then shoved me ...." I couldn't understand the expression "then went upside my head..". Can anybody help in clarifying what Mr. King meant?
