I mean, how many Tim Gunn saves does one designer get?
It's like the kid said, if she wouldn't have had the chance to fix the zipper, she would have gone home. But, I also understand for decency, they all agreed to it. He could've said no.

But, on that note, if I beat someone, I would want to beat them toe to toe and not on an issue of a zipper.

BUT, that is the game they play. Small things like that, if you can't make the deadline LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, then it's time to be the one judged to go home. It is a contest, and time is a factor.

My memory is horrid. I really can't remember how I felt about either of the 2 lowest score designer's previous looks. But that little bit about
extra time was sketchy. From a competitive perspective, their answer should have been no. Then I'd feel better about the outcome. But I understand, I love Tim too and would have a hard time denying a request from him.

They only said yes because they didn't want to look bad saying no.
I understand wanting to beat somebody at their best, but it's a competition. They all had the same time to complete their looks. She shouldn't have gotten extra time.
I think a fair question is: would she have returned the favor?

I just hope we see Alexander back on the show, for the sake of fair play.

Wow. Way to shoot yourself in the foot.
If you don't like it, FAKE IT!

I absolutely disagree with who got sent home. But she really did it to herself.

I think I might have to stop watching this show until a certain somebody goes home.

I'm wondering who it is you dislike so much is it
Char
?
I have to agree, she's been given a lot. And I liked the style of the designer who went home last night. But her personality has put me off from the beginning. She's quite arrogant and mean spirited. That said, it's not a personality competition. But in terms of who pulled that off last night in the showdown, she blew it. And Sean's got a good plan. Take someone who you can defeat and you're that much closer to Fashion Week. I'm happy to see you know who gone. She's one of those gorgeous on the outside, heinous on the inside people that I can't stand.

Did you guys see scenes from next week? Wow. She isn't doing herself any favours in the fashion world by alienating people who could be beneficial to her in the future. Or, who could keep her from thriving in the profession on a larger scale. And, as a customer, I appreciate her passion, but i wouldn't want to deal with her.

Yes, how childish is that? I keep thinking that about her. Fit pitching is for toddlers, she's just toxic.

Yup. That's who needs to go. And yup. She got herself sent home.

Yeah, I saw that. But what did they expect, putting her back together with THAT designer? I don't know that I'd do it either. You can't tell me they didn't do that on purpose.

I understand where she's coming from. But you're right. A person has to be bigger than that.

Ah, see. She didn't have a temper fit and walk out. They made the teaser look more dramatic. She
said how she was feeling and was excused. Somebody else was brought back for Shar to work with.
I wouldn't work with Shar, either.

I'm watching at this point only to see Shar bet beat. And what's wit kini having such a weak showing at panel? He's the best designer there.
I finally got caught up. I'm shocked Shar is still in, I'm shocked by Kini, but you know he kind of gets himself all stressed out and then pulls something fabulous out of thin air. That blue coat he did is exquisite - I can't find a picture online - do you remember it or I am thinking of someone else - it was a navy blue, you almost thought it was black, but it was blue - I want to say it was vinyl, but maybe not - it was a trench coat, but very swingy. I want it. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night!!

He does great work. I'm thinking he might win. The coat was super cool.

I absolutely disagree with who won. Or, more to the point, who didn't. The heavily-tipped scales this season are making me rethink whether I want to watch it again or not.

I'm not sure. I have it recorded, so I might watch the runway more carefully tonight. I wasn't impressed with Kini, he didn't do as well as I thought he would; I liked Amanda's show, but it's a little more everyday wear; Shar is fine with the ready to wear marketable stuff, but that's not really what high fashion is about; Sean was total glam -he's got a knack for glamorous and sexy fashion. True, the fringe seemed a bit one trick pony, but he was pretty consistent with the "wow" factor most of the season. His rainway dress was just "wow!!", the dress he did for Heidi was stunning. Kini did better during the season than he did for the final runway. I think he lets his head get in the way - I totally understand as I do that myself all the time. I'll still watch it, I love watching fashion shows. I want a trip to New York for Fashion Week desperately.
