I'm saying this for everyones benefit--this Board has been going on for a very long time and built up a community of people who care about each other and hopefully we are all adult enough to realize that not everyone is going to get along 100% of the time for whatever the reason but creating even more negative discourse behind the scenes rather than bringing things out into the open and dealing with them or not taking it privately with the person involved if that's more appropriate is not the way we'll keep that positive community feeling going. And please respect ALL of the moderators, especially Dana Jean and FlakeNoir who are doing this completely on a volunteer basis and putting in extra time beyond what they might normally do to interact on the Board. It's a very tough line for all of us to be friends with the members and then have to put on our Moderator hats to deal with issues that come up and just because some members have been here nearly from the beginning does not mean that we can give preference to them over the new members if no one is breaking the rules. We all have control over how we respond to posts and do not have to allow any other person's irritations real or imagined to define how we interact with everyone else. I'm 100% in agreement with my fellow Mods that we have had our fill of the sniping and would like to bring things back to a more welcoming vibe for the Board. Let's try to clear the air and move forward so that people will have a positive feeling again about coming here.
Wait... it wasn't me this time, was it?
Just making sure.

Just playing.
I totally agree that problems should be kept off-board. I think we all have issues from time to time, or somebody we don't get along with. But that should be taken to PM, or if it's bad enough, to a Mod. They do such an astounding job dealing with everybody's... shall we say... eccentricities. And they do it with grace. I've had to learn to chill out, myself. It's a good habit to pick up. It's a good place. We should be glad we've got it.
