He died from cancer complications. He was 70. Rest in peace, little buddy.

He died in 2005. I don't know why that article is going around again. But I'm seeing all over Facebook too.

I did not remember either.......until I thought about all the "he never got off the island" jokes that occurred......
Holy moly. I saw it on facebook and thought he just died. Why is it showing up now then?
Not sure, but it is a newsworthy. Seems that a lot of outlets were fooled too.
