They're these thingies that get information and take it to the world wide web -- or something. And once they have gathered all the information in the world, they will assimilate us all. And it will hurt.Just a silly question, but what are "robots"? On the home bit it shows members on line, and guests, but then there are robots. There is only normally 2 or 3. But what/who are they? Are they Borgs? Are they going to assimilate me? If so, will it hurt??

No, they gather information to take to the information highway. That's why when you Google something and it pulls up links and one of those choices is a conversation here on the board. It's a bot.
You are spending so much time in the Games section?
On the old board I didn't play Games as they weren't out front, so to speak. See post # 2 above - Dana Jean answered about what a robot is but I'm not sure if she's kidding or not
