I just watched that mini drama a while ago and I've plenty of questions and I wish somebody can answer them.
First, what is Andre Linoge actually? I know he is some kind of demon like legion but why can he walk in the house of god?
Second, when Mike dreamed of the residents are committing a mass suicide, why their forehead has the word "Coratan"? What is the significance of this word?
Third, what is the significance of the lighthouse get crushed down by the wave?

Linoge is a demon (yes, the name he's chosen is an anagram of Legion). Perhaps he can want in the house of God because it really isn't God's. A 'church' in the Christian sense was originally was a name for a group of people who followed Jesus Christ. Because these particular people weren't particularly Christ-like (with the exception of Mike Anderson), perhaps that meant God did not dwell amongst them.

"Croatoan" was a word found carved into a tree in the colony that disappeared from Roanoke Island in early American history. The reference is a hint that perhaps what is happening on Little Tall Island is what happened on Roanoke, or that what happened there will happen on Little Tall.

The lighthouse collapse could have just been a great special effect, or could have been a symbol for the 'light' (goodness, caring, etc.) being put out on Little Tall. I tend to think it's the latter.

This is my FAVORITE Stephen King-based movie!

Welcome to the Board.
I love Storm of the Century as well.

Linoge is the representative of pure evil, but he also forces the residents of Little Tall Island to confront their own issues, whether they be greed, power, envy, wrath, or pride. Not all the Seven Deadlies are addressed in the story, but some are, and the residents pay a price for living lives that are less than "godly". Linoge makes sure of that.
