I like the base fact of this story. How much you can survive is a question my sons ask me endlessly...i always think of this story when they ask me and I give them the answer... depends on badly you want to survive. That being said... I love this story, but hey... who doesn't enjoy a story about perseverance? Hahaha

This is a very disturbing story . . . that also makes me laugh a couple times whenever I read it.

That's a rare thing for a short.

Survivor Type is one of my top three favorite sK short stories.
...certainly I would have a sporting chance, and with all my extra adipose tissue-might even be able to offer a Senior Citizens discount....
