Denise Katrina Matthews, age 57, better known as Vanity from the Prince protégé girl group Vanity 6, has died from kidney failure. She would have played the female lead in Purple Rain had she and Prince not had a falling out over his 'suggestive' lyrics. Another part of my youth is gone....

Add to the list Carmen Electra (he named her that!), Kim Basinger, Sheena Easton, Mayte. For a short little guy, he sure does get the babes.....(except for Wendy & Lisa anyway).
