It was supposed to release this month, but now it's not even up on Amazon anymore, just the print and audio editions. Did it get cancelled or something?

Will have to check on that for you as I don't have information as to why it's not available on Kindle. It was supposed to release this month, but now it's not even up on Amazon anymore, just the print and audio editions. Did it get cancelled or something?
It hadn't previously been authorized as a Kindle edition in the US while it was a Penguin release.Weren't there problems with this ebook before, or maybe it was the only King book to not have an e-version?
I wonder if it has something to do with all of the song lyrics quoted in it -- when I was researching my essay on Christine for Stephen King Revisited I found a quote where Steve talked about having to pay $X per thousand copies of the book sold for some reprint rights.
I'd sent an email to Steve's agent earlier to see if he has any information and will post that here as soon as I hear back. The thing is that it was up for preorder in September with a November release date. I didn't preorder because I figured I'd just get it when it came out because Kindle books don't sell out lol. I went to look for it and now there was no Kindle version anymore. Did anyone preorder when it was up? Just curious what happened.
I'm not sure if the song lyrics are really an issue, a lot of King's books feature popular song lyrics and they are on Kindle. It's really weird that Christine is the only book having this issue. I see the german version is on Kindle though haha.
