that dollhouse at the end of the street
Its a nightmare! I dont remember dreams that often, every now and then, scattered in bits or parts but this one part very vividly, almost real so much that it woke me up last night.

I was in a house, it wasnt mine, but in the dream it was my house. I had been walking through it, seeing rooms id never seen before and didnt know were there. One of my sons was there off somewhere in a different part of the house.

All of a sudden, i saw these 3 guys coming around a corner 2 rooms away looked like thugs and I was startled at seeing them, and they were coming towards me, and all of a sudden there was only one, and he was leaned toward me and i said 'What are you doing?' He didnt speak, He was breathing on me, getting closer, and i said " My husbsnd is here! " Im not married and it seemed in the dream like he knew i was lying and he just kept breathing louder right on my neck and never speaking, and i repeated 'WHAT are you Doing? ' becoming more panicked he put his hand on my arm and i began to physically struggle with this person , and began screaming for "Daryl" over and over in the dream and i woke myself up, sitting in bed screaming out "Daryl" ! My heart was racing and i had to get a hold of myself. That was terrifying! :icon_eek:

The most puzzling part of this dream for me is that i dont know anyone named DARYL. :Oo: (unless i was yelling for Daryl from the Walking Dead  )

That's a creeper one :/

I had two nights ago that involved a huge, old mansion that was lived in but kind of run down. My neighbor and I were there and were the only ones there. We began exploring room by room. When we got to the 3rd floor it was as though it were one giant room (think a finished basement, just up top) that had been used as a disorganized storage area; stuff thrown in there with no sense of organization, etc. We started crawling over furniture and things and found an old cabinet. In the bottom part of the cabinet we found big plastic trays filled with drugs, mostly prescription but some illegal, out of bottles, scattered everywhere. We realized we could get in big trouble so we started frantically shoving them back into the cabinet.
Not so weird for me but then last night I was back in this house and we were fixing it up. I was working in an old bathroom and decided to tear off a piece of wall paper in an inconspicuous spot to see what was underneath and it was really cool old fashioned wall coverings from the early 1900's. I removed the entire sheet of paper only to realize in the dead center of the wall was a big huge paint smudge that ruined the effect. Later I was installing tiles on a wall, whites, tans, grays of all shades and it was really pretty. Immediately upon finishing I began tearing it down piece by piece and when it was removed I realized how stupid it was and the wall was smudgy and gross with paint and glue. SO stupid. The entire time (in both dreams) I had this super jittery butterflies-in-the-stomach feeling.

 I dreamed about an abandoned mansion too just a few weeks ago ! Our dreams are somewhat similar, though Yours seem to be more mysterious and detailed in comparison, but it was the strangest dream, I was walking down this enormous giant hallway and looking into all these different rooms, and they were abandoned, with old furniture in some of them, and in my head, I was thinking that I would put different colors of oriental rugs in these rooms, I needed '4'.

Even though it was abandoned, there were some strange people wandering around at a distance, and all of a sudden, this Ivory horse head, it was some kind of a wall ornament, it came off the wall , and was coming after me and when I looked behind its head over its body, there was a giant spear, like a rod, and at the end of it, had this giant Syringe, and it reared up, and I grabbed it with one arm and then the other around its neck and began trying to hold it still so it couldn't stick me ! so I woke up actually physically struggling with this giant porcelain merry go roundish horse head. :icon_eek:

That's creepy. Yours seem much more physical than mine :/ They can leave you feeling drained and exhausted.

I've had some funny ones that I laugh so hard it wakes me up!

I took a nap this afternoon, and it wasn't worth it because of the dreams I was having. Well, actually, it started out cool, because somehow I found a catalog from the early 90s, one of those giant "wishbook" things they used to send around Christmas time that kids would pour over and circle the stuff they wanted from Santa. But this one in the dream actually came with a ton of mint condition samples of the vintage toys and dolls, and I was so happy to have all these things from my childhood again.
But THEN I suddenly realized that I hadn't been keeping up with any of the reading in my 12th grade high school English class, and Monday was the start of exam week. I was trying to go through my phone to find the contact info for any of my classmates to ask them what I was supposed to know for the test, so I could study as much as I could tomorrow (Sunday), but I couldn't figure out how to navigate through my phone, and my computer seemed to have gotten stuck on some video game (thanks to my ex), and I couldn't close out of it.
Then, still in the dream, I realized high school was over, and I was relieved for a moment before "remembering" that the same situation was facing me, only it was college this time. And that I was depending on passing this English class in order to get my last credit to graduate. So then I started going crazy trying to call people for help either to tell me the assignments I had to catch up on, or to at least tell me how to fix my computer. There was a pool party filled with murderous Medici family members thrown in there somewhere, too, adding to the general unease. :umm:
Ugh.

Yea they are creepy, but not draining or exhausting, I found them pretty amusing afterward! Weird how your abandoned mansion had medications in it and mine had a syringe! ;-D

I hate that exam crap!!!
I have a reoccurring one where I'm in my car and am faced with a monster set of twisty bridges and roads going every which way that look insurmountable and I'm panicking because I have no idea how to get home other than face the tangled up mess of roads and bridges. 2 seconds later I'm driving down a dark and deserted road with tall, black buildings on either side and I get to a single stop light. I always turn right. After that I'm (still in my car) driving down a supermarket aisle, looking for cookies. :glare:
When I was a teenager I used to go to an old nature preserve before it became a hang out for drug dealers and murderers; it was way back in the woods and kinda creepy location. Leaving the preserve I always turned a certain way and went home. I never went the other way because it never occurred to me to do so but I had a dream once I decided to take the opposite way. I passed a very unique looking house with a large barn and horses outside, kept driving, and reached a water amusement park and had the time of my life. In a dream. Pathetic maybe, but the next time I went to the preserve I went that way out of curiosity. I passed a unique looking house with a large barn and horses outside :/ No water park though, to which I was totally pissed off about.

This got posted on a board I frequent & we've been dissecting the crap out of it. Someone even starting a fan-fiction about it! There must be more here than meets the eye. Right? It seems simple on the surface, but lots of unanswered questions. Any insight would certainly be appreciated. Ah, just tell me what the hell it means! Oh, it isn't mentioned, but you may notice the pale lady is butt naked. Not sure if that's a factor.

Bump! I'm still trying to get to the bottom of this perplexing puzzle, and since there appear to be fresh brains in attendance recently, I thought I'd repost. The general consensus is something along the lines that the pale lady is a good samaritan, and the landlady is an axe-murderess. :) What do you think?
