Fumbling for purchase?
When I used to be a medical transcriptionist the doctor would dictate "We achieved a good purchase" (orthopedic surgery).
I used to joke about those orthopedic surgeons always going shopping...

I love the idea of a world where the men are alone because all the women have fallen into a deep sleep - oy vey!

Well, I do not enjoy the idea in reality, but it makes for a great book!Personally, I do not enjoy that idea.
