It's a 'gift'!Wow KRF... you really do know where to find the treasures!
Oh, hon, I've been there myself with the no $$ thingy! There were times in my past where I had to choose between buying some more groceries or buying a new book. I'll let you guess which one usually won out....A Goodwill near my house has Salem's Lot, Dolores Claiborne, Bag of Bones and a few others. I'm saving up money to go back for them (yes--I am so broke I have to save money to shop at thrift stores).
You're going to have to dress him up alittle if you want us thinking that's Maturin. He's missing some symbols... But, he IS cool looking! Good colors!I thought for sure someone would comment on Maturin....

To paraphrase Robert Palmer 'You're gonna have to face it, you're addicted to BOOKS!'I don't know why I do this to myself, I already have stacks of books I still have to read on my desk. I just couldn't help myself.
Sigh.
Anyway, I bought The Road by Cormac McCarthy, Primitive People By Francine Prose, Blood From a Stone by Donna Leon, Crying Wolf by Peter Abrahams, The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje and The Reader by Bernhard Schlink.
