Jae Lee is an Eisner-award winning comic book artist who is known and loved for his dark, gothic style. In 1990 he left art school to pursue a career at Marvel Comics, where he became one of the youngest professional artists ever to work for a major comic book company. As the original penciler for Marvel’s Dark Tower comics (Gunslinger Born, The Long Road Home, Treachery, The Battle of Jericho Hill), Jae Lee created the series’ signature style. He received several nominations for this groundbreaking work. At Stephen King’s request, Lee also illustrated the Grant edition of The Wind Through the Keyhole. As well as his Marvel work, Lee has published his own graphic novel—entitled Hellshock—with Image Comics. He is currently working on Ozymandias, a prequel to Watchmen for DC Comics.
