I just listened to "Vincent". Beautiful song... makes my eyes fill up, every time.

He shot himself in the abdomen. It took him a month or something to die. I dunno if they know for sure what affliction he had, but I've heard speculation it was epilepsy. He apparently had other, emotional issues for some reason, but my understanding is that he killed himself because of symptoms associated with epilepsy, or whatever his affliction was.
