I couldn't watch Saw 2 because of the scene where the girl has to put her hand in the clear tube to get the antidote. I can watch people get their arms, lega or heads torn off but cannot abide watching someone get cut!!!!!!
Nope! Absoultely NOT!Saw IV has an awesome scene where a dude is strapped to a chair and the only way to release the locks on his shackles is to push his face through a bunch of butcher knives.
What did you thikn of it? I saw a preview on another movie I was watching 7 was intrigued--Dennis Quaid is criminally underrated, IMHO.

I like small "people movies". Definitely want to see this now--thanks.i enjoyed it, and admittedly, i'm a bit snooty when it comes to films.... it's a bit slow moving but i think it had a lot of heart in depicting a family that's starting to unravel~
He was fantastic in that movie he did with Julianne Moore that took place in the '50's or '60's where he was a married repressed gay man. What did you thikn of it? I saw a preview on another movie I was watching 7 was intrigued--Dennis Quaid is criminally underrated, IMHO.
Give it a try. The first part is worth it, and there are almost no disgusting moments, the movie in general looks more like a thriller and detective.I've never seen the SAW movies--I had the impression they were upscale snuff films. Now you make me re-think (at least on the first one) I trust your judgement Might have to give that one a chance.
Did you watch the out-takes or 'gag' reel? There's a hilarious one for the scene where her husbands head is rolling on the road towards her!Premonition. I dig Sandra Bullock. Not the best of her films but good enough.
He really was good in that. I can't remember the name for anything, though--Far From Heaven, maybe? He was fantastic in that movie he did with Julianne Moore that took place in the '50's or '60's where he was a married repressed gay man.
Absolutely. Saw 2 onwards are fairly gross hack and slash movies (albeit with a good motive driving the killer): Saw is an excellent claustrophobic horror thriller, and a brilliant example of how gripping a film is possible on a small budget. Highly recommended.I generally don't like this type of movie either, but the original Saw is worth a watch!

I have a 4th of July tradition of watching Jaws and Jaws 2. The weather was cruddy so it was good day to stay in and watch some movies.
