I've been taking Glucosamine for a few years now. It really does help! If I miss a day I can definately tell. Costco sells it at a really great price!
Yes! I am just shocked that the doctor didn't tell me about it. I'm so happy. Even after the gym tonight: no pain! I'll take that pill everyday the rest of my life. Will stock up at Costco.

Was growly yesterday. Denied at two more places and running out of places to apply, but I clamed myself down and worked on some paintings. I also helped my auntie out yesterday, she sprained her wrist changing her tire. If I were able to change the tire I would, she was in Neah Bay. 70 miles from Port Angeles. No surgery.
I have an interview tomorrow for a deli position and I really hope this one leads to a job.
Well Tet Mates, hope you have a great day and maybe be back tomorrow afternoon.
Positive vibes to you! Hoping this is it for you!

Here they sell a bottle of 220 tablets for about $18. They also have a different one that about 300 or so tablets and it's usually less, but without Chondroitin.

I was cooking up some chili-and-cheese quesadillas for dinner. Grandma was in the living room. I remembered a song from my youth, from Mary Poppins, and started singing it in sort of a little kid's voice. I sometimes do make things up as I go along. I sang:

If you want this choice position
Have no felony conviction

Take us on outings, clean our shorts
Play games, all sorts

Never be cross or cruel
Never feed us motor oil or fuel

Love us as a son and daughter
And never smell of latrine water

If you don't beat or emasculate us
(at this point, I started hearing noise from the living room)
We will never give you cause to hate us

We won't hide your spectacles so you can't see
Put wasps in your bed or arsenic in your tea...

Then I had to go to the living room. Grandma was dyin', laughing. I didn't think it was that funny, just making up goofy stuff as I went along, but sometimes a person is in a mood for such things, I guess. I repeated a couple of the lines a couple times the rest of this evening, and she guffawed every time.

You can come over and sing and cook for me anytime! Bring Grandma- we'll sit in my livingroom and laugh up a storm!

kingricefan I love Costco. I get as much of our "stuff" there as I can. You can't beat the cash-back perks, the return policy (I once let chocolate covered almonds melt in my car and the took it back and gave me a new canister!), the $1.50 hot dogs, so much tp and pt you never run out.

Lepplady That's pretty sexy, but I'd like an under the clothes one the trains your waist to look like Scarlett's O'Hara's.

Grandpa I love Mary Poppins and totally remember those words. I sing while I cook. The most random things come to mind to sing, don't they?

Y'all - my 22 year old is about to begin teaching high school biology in an at risk school. I'm proud of her, but I'm so worried about her ability to maintain control of her classroom. The school she is teaching in is very close to where I work. Out of the 380 graduating seniors last year, only 3 made the required ACT score for college entrance. She's got her work cut out for her. I don't want her to fail. If you could take a moment and throw some blessings, positive thoughts her way or if you're a teacher and have any advice, I'd be happy to pass it on. She's a very smart, idealistic girl. I'd love for her to make a positive difference in the lives of these kids.

I wish her the very best, Holly. She is a brave young woman to take on such a task. I think we all know how difficult teaching can be. And yet it can also be very rewarding. Hopefully, things will get off to a good start for her and she'll get a good group of kids. You never know.

My bit of advice would be to remind her that Rome was not built in a day. She is fighting some deeply ingrained thoughts and behaviors, it's going to take time. but, one kid at a time. If she can just reach that 100th monkey mark, (or whatever that environment's magic number is, she might see changes happen quicker.) The road will be slow going at first.

Hundredth monkey effect - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Although it appears that some of this study was discredited, I still believe in the power of learning and how it can spread positive energy through a classroom.

Good Thursday everyone!!
Been the worst day ever. First when I went to my car this morning, my sister had accidentally forgot to close the passenger side window. It rained pretty
much last night and had came water inside the car. Then at work something happened to my back. Suddenly I got a horrible pain in it and have hard
to walk now. Not even painkillers seems to help. I hope it's nothing serious. My vacation begin soon and I really not want to spend my vacation in bed being
ill. :mad2:
Here has raining most of the day. Now sun try to shine between the clouds. I listened to radio when I drove home from work. Been pretty bad
weather in this country. Flooding, t-storms, hard rain. Firefighters and ambulances have had busy days. A man was hit by a lightning, in another place it
rained so hard that the streets and roads flooded and two buildings had caught fire because of a T-storm. Hope Mother Nature calm down soon.

Have a great day and take care of you, be well and stay safe.
