No, no.....by "it" I meant The Tommyknockers.
IT is good, too.
Oh, right, I'm with you now!
I'm kind of fascinated by The Tommyknockers, so I will read it at some point.

Please do! It's really paranoid, wonky, and off-kilter, but that's why I love it. I think it very accurately shows what King's mind-frame was at the time.
I've not read Under The Dome yet, so can't comment. I have seen a bit of the TV series, though.
It does sound like a great idea for a story.
You will enjoy the book more and Misery is a damn smucking great book!!!!!!!!!
Smucking? Isn't that from Lisey's Story?
It is and you're the first to notice that. I use that a lot!
And I haven't even read Lisey's Story!
Hi, Kurben. I would start with A Prayer For Owen Meany.OK, i admit.... I am an Irving virgin. What books should i look for first with him?
Did you know that a 'new' story by Steinbeck has been found and is being published (today, supposedly)? From what I've read, it was one he wrote way back in '44 or '45 and it was read on Orson Wells very popular radio show and then just disappeared somehow and was 'lost' in some magazine's files and was just recently discovered. It is the story of a black man in the army. OK, just looked it up. It's called 'With Your Wings' and will be in The Strand magazine!!!!My second favorite author
I did not know that! I'll certainly try to read itDid you know that a 'new' story by Steinbeck has been found and is being published (today, supposedly)? I'm an Irving virgin, too and I've just ordered a copy of this based on your recommendation.
It sounds pretty good.
Be aware: religion plays a HUGE part in this story, if that bothers you. Like I said, it's in my top 3 books ever, but I know you've mentioned that religious content bores you. If so, you may prefer one of the other books between Garp and The Fourth Hand. JSYK
I don't mind overtly religious stories if they are well written and interesting. I like the sound of this book, so I'm really looking forward to reading it.
