If Carol and Daryl hooked up, it would be gratuitous. I'd hate it. Those two are finely tuned friends. They don't even need to speak to know what's going on. Romance would complicate that, and I don't see it happening as it's been written so far. There would have to be changes in the future for that to change.

I like the idea of Noah and Beth, if we MUST continue to tolerate her.

People are wanting Rick and Michonne to hook up, but I'm not sure about that one either. Right now, their world is about survival. When (if) things settle down and get safer, then they can worry about such affairs. Personally, though, if TWD turns into the match game, I'll watch something else on Sunday nights.

There's a whole bunch of speculation going around that Daryl's gay. If that's the case, who would he hook up with?
Well, I was just talkin' about a lil bit of sex... no need to get all relationshippy on me.

I do see everyone's point though, they're mates (buds) first.

I am caught up. Great episode although I'm not sure how

The grady hospital cops zeroed in on exactly which building they were in. Even though a gunshot alerted them, the echo in that empty city would have made it very hard to pinpoint them. Unless they just randomly drove down that street and hit carol.

Having your kid be (almost) raped will do that to a person...

And I still don't buy it. Of all the ways to kill someone, just...no. You wouldn't even try. Even 'hysterical strength' doesn't cut it. Instinct would lead you to grab. Hysterical strength might allow you to pull someone's throat out, but even then I'm not convinced. Either way, it'd be a damn sight easier than using your choppers. Even with nice, sharp, well-looked after teeth humans just don't have the bite strength. the muscles alone would mean Rick would have a very, very wide face.
A good gnash to cause someone to let go or whatever is fine, but what they did...nup, the BS-o-meter rang loud and clear, and it spoilt that entire ep for me.

But anyroad, done bun can't be undone, as I probably said before.
I liked the latest ep. I'm a bit concerned, though.
Daryl's on the road to Understanding and Self-Improvement. He has Hope. He's goan' die soon. Probably during the rescue of Beth and Carol, given her 'we don't rescue people anymore' comment.

And I would like to add, YES, I realize I am nitpicking on things in a ZOMBIE WORLD! Yes I have totally accepted the zombies. But, the real life stuff, I can pick on that! lol!
Accepted the zombies? Welcome to the dark side. Have a cake.

What if no one but Eugene ever 'talked to Washington'? Pretty easy to claim that you have some sort of secret number (for a sat phone, perhaps?) when Abraham was desperate for ANYTHING to believe in. He definitely could have put together the whole thing--he's a leader, and people want someone/thing to believe in when things go south.

I remember Eugene telling Abraham that it was classified, and I believe Abraham just accepted that for what it was, and didn't have any direct contact with Washington. He took Eugene at his word, which is why is so infuriated to discover the truth. He was played as the fool, and was continually told by Eugene, that he wasn't as smart as him...

Well,

Eugene is pretty smart. He knew he was weak. He knew he had to surround himself with strong people. He happened upon Abraham. He assessed him quickly and knew he was a military man and would not question authoritaah if he presented it to him in that way. Abraham was played a fool, BUT, it gave him a purpose. Eugene saved his life. He gave him a reason to keep on going and not eat that bullet. Now, what is he? What is his purpose? What is going to keep him going?

It was still pretty ballsy (not a reference to your previous mention of ball sack...) of Eugene to say he was still smarter than Abraham, after leading him on that whole way on a premise based on a lie...

This is hilarious, as I was reading the email alert from your message this afternoon, I was also reading Rose Madder and this passage is what I'd just gotten to. (amazing really)
"...and then Norman's teeth were on her throat, he was nuzzling her like a horny kid parked on Lovers' Lane, and then his teeth were in her throat, and something was spraying warm all down the front of her, and she thought no more."

:biggrin2:

I don't think they will write in romance for Daryl at all. Too many upset viewers. I think if they were going to create romance between him and Carol they would have had a kiss rather than just a hug when he found out she was still alive and rejoined the group after Terminus. I like Noah and Beth together though. Can't picture anyone with Rick either- I think he has too much on his plate with leading the group and taking care of his two kids to deal with a complicated love story as well.
