I was pleased with the story arc of both Carol and Daryl. I would rather watch them together any day-Then Beth and Daryl.
I was a little worried going into the episode as some of my friends online posted that this one was a waste of their time. I thought it was pretty good. Hopefully next week sticks with this group rather than jumping back to the DC crew...
I was hoping they would hook up last night, I know they're buds, but I think they could be more. I still see Beth as being too young for Daryl, I would like to see her with Noah. He seems like a good kid.

If Carol and Daryl hooked up, it would be gratuitous. I'd hate it. Those two are finely tuned friends. They don't even need to speak to know what's going on. Romance would complicate that, and I don't see it happening as it's been written so far. There would have to be changes in the future for that to change.
I like the idea of Noah and Beth, if we MUST continue to tolerate her.
People are wanting Rick and Michonne to hook up, but I'm not sure about that one either. Right now, their world is about survival. When (if) things settle down and get safer, then they can worry about such affairs. Personally, though, if TWD turns into the match game, I'll watch something else on Sunday nights.

There was time when I think they could have written a romance between Carol and Daryl. That time has passed, and I agree with Lepplady, it wouldn't work (story wise).
I still think anything between Michonne and Rick would be wrong. She is his son's friend and his son needs her a lot more than Rick does.

Did anyone notice Daryl's magic moving pillow on the bunk bed? The pillow is at the head of the bunk bed as it should be. When he and Carol are sitting on the bed the pillow is to Daryl's left. Carol lays back and soon after Daryl lays back too. Magic pillow is there and Daryl settles in comfortably. Yay!
