I did have the Giants game but that was my only choice for the morning games. My CBS channels had infomercials on.

The Giants game was actually pretty good, well close is what I mean, but you just knew there was another GIANT blunder on the horizon. Strahan should have gone down on the sideline and slapped Eli around a little......

I'm curious how long the Giants will continue to weigh Eli's two super bowl rings against, what seems to be, his Brett Favre-ish penchant for throwing INTs. I'm curious if Eli would be a better quarterback if he played on a different team with a different kind of offense.

The Giants have been such a weird team in the Eli era, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what the problem is. They have had times when they have looked unbeatable and other times when they look like the worst team in the NFL (often within just a couple of weeks). This holds true for the offense and defense. They beat two excellent Patriot teams in two Super Bowls when they had looked awful just a few weeks before. This is the most Jekyll and Hyde team I've ever seen. They have been pretty bad the past couple of years, though (although they still have had their moments).

I think Eli needs a change. Whether it's a coaching staff blow up or a new team, I think he needs a change.

I'm with ya. I think he has a lot of talent, but tries to force too many plays. Put him on a team with a good rushing attack he could be very good. Bears maybe? Good RB, decent receivers, pretty good O-line...

The Bills have some good offensive weapons and he wouldn't have to go far. I think the current Bills team with (good) Eli would be awesome.

I'd like for Eli to stay with the G-Men, but I can think of a number of places where he'd be pretty good. I think Arizona would be great with him. Yeah, they have somebody right now and they've somehow managed nine wins this year, but with a real QB like Eli (which he is when he is on his game) they could win a Super Bowl. Eli to Fitzgerald would be a great combo. I think Arizona placed all their eggs in the Carson Palmer basket, though.

I was a bit surprised about Ryan Mallett's performance for the Texans this last weekend. He looked much better than I thought he would. While he was playing for Arkansas, he never seemed that impressive except for his rocket arm. We had some really good receivers at the time and Mallett always seemed to throw the ball at about 100mph thirty yards over everyone's heads. Never thought he would do much but he looks like he has settled down a bit and was managing the Texans offense pretty well. Maybe he'll keep the starting job.

Firstly, sorry if this has been covered before; the search didn't come up with anything so hopefully I'm good to go ;)

I was just interested to know who else likes the NFL, favourite teams and such. I'm in the UK, and me and the mister are all in favour of a UK franchise :) He got me into it not long after we got together - nearly five years now - and I've enjoyed it from the outset, even though I'm still learning how the game works :rugby: The mister is a Patriots fan, and I support the Saints - not having the best season, but I'm keeping the faith. Black & gold to the Superbowl! :positive:

So, who's your team?
