Do tell, as I think I'm starting to come back to mine. Somehow I've lost nearly a month. It's been a few years since I've gone a bit mad like this. Am I in good company or am I just freaking insane?

You must have had a tremendous amount of stress in your life. And to answer your question - yes this has happened to me too!

Oh girl, I have. My beloved father in law was in an accident, and we almost lost him so during my turmoil, he was just struggling to live and I couldn't talk to him or see him. He's my touchstone. But blessedly, he's a miracle man and he's been calling and talking to me quite a bit and mercifully, I'm coming around again. I might have to call him when the witching hour hits. When you've lost your mind do you have trouble sleeping, and wake up at 3am with a blanket of fear and dread and worry wrapped around you? It's been that way for me since Oct 30th.

You poor thing! - yes - I could only sleep for a while and then would wake up in the wee hours. I could not eat either - I went down to about 120 :(

So glad your father in law is on the mend - take care of yourself Holly :cheerful:

I used to work in Borders bookstore and I loved it, but this time of year really is madness. I bet your quick wit and excellent sense of humor, not to mention your handsomeness, keeps everyone happy while they spend.
I think it's more the fur-lined jock strap that the folks have come to love. ;;D I'm so over the craziness of the season. It's not fun anymore. I would enjoy it more but I just don't have them time at work to even breath anymore, and not just at this time of year, it's all of the time. I need to find a new job but now that I have been diagnosed with a hernia I have to stay until I have my operation and recuperate. Wish me luck!

You might remember me from a few months ago or so. I was either loved by a few or hated by most. Because of too many misunderstandings from different directions I left giving us all time to reflect. I come back and all is better. Do not think of it as losing nearly a month rather...
'Sometimes you have to take a pause or even a step backward before (getting ready) your leap ahead.'
also
'Every journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step (and will include sun, rain, pauses to reflect, mistakes and rewards).'
also
The tougher the challenge, the greater the awards
but only if you continue to strive for your your goals.
also
Family God will not allow you to be tempted by evil or wrong doing beyond your ability to refuse and if you do make the wrong choice Family God will always leave a way open to come back.

Greetings kingricefan. I also have been diagnosed with a hernia and I have, along with deep medtation, done some research that is very intereting. I was diagnosed about eight months ago. I still have had no operation but I have found a way to use natural healing. Before I continue with my story please tell me about your diagnosis, operation and so, if you do not mind.
Thx.

Stress is a terrible thing and can mess us up severely, dealing with unrelenting stress can affect our physical health too.
I hope that things smooth out for you from here on out and I'm so happy to hear that your father-in-law/confidant is now on the mend.
