I had been to the Stephen King regular site on several occasions, mainly for the library page and news. I may or may not have lurked back then...can't remember for sure. I think I came to the forum specifically searching for the writing contest entry after reading On Writing. I joined the forum shortly thereafter.

Joined in August 2010 because of the Kingdom Photo Submission Challenge Thingy, which was an absolute hoot. I have fond memories of taking pictures of the most mundane, crappy signs my city had to offer. Kept every single photo, and I pull them up every now and then and laugh. Good times.

I read a Stephen King book... and then I googled him. I saw the site had a message board and said to myself: "ooh, there's a message board" and signed up.

Mine was actually a look of shocked surprise that you'd actually leap off a building, shouting "I can fly, I can fly"......
Johnny always has that look on his face when he looks at me......I think I amaze him.
