Bought In the Tall Grass and Mile 81. Downloaded to my tablet. Thought they would be good to read while i'm away. Are they good? Thinking about UR too.... Come on, tell me.. I'm completely new to this ebook world and feel a little lost. A stranger in a Strange Land as Heinlein would have put it.
I'm planning to read them in my vacation in a few weeks. I'll post thoughts about them then. (i'll always end up having to find a bookstore when i'm away and usually they are not especially good so it is usually not to good books i buy but i have to read something or i go crazy. I'm hoping this will fix this problem so i won't have to go look for some book, any book). In the Tall Grass is very good. I own it in cd format. It is very short, just 2 discs. It's a dark story. Something kinda funny, I go to sleep to audio books for "white noise". Going to sleep to In the Tall Grass? Yeah, that would be a big no!
I'm new to the ebook world too. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on how you like it and the other stories too.
Yep!Including Rage?
Then it is OK. I cant really think of these editions of Bachman books where Rage is not there as being The Bachman Books. It feels amputated someway. It hobbles along but it is not a whole anymore. But that is just my feeling.Yep!
Narnia?I have something I want to buy: Does anyone know what happened with the map of SK's Maine (with his fictional towns placed amongst the real towns)? I'm sure I remember such a thing being available through the website, but I can't find it now. The Man has finally decided that what he wants to put on the main wall of his ManCave is maps of our favorite fictional worlds (Westeros, Middle Earth, etc.), and he was the one to ask if such a SK map existed--have to jump on a request like that!

Yep, that's the one I was thinking of. I thought it was available for purchase? It's a hazy memory, so I could be wrong; I just don't want to commit the sin of snitching work for which an artist should be paid
YES! I forgot that one! My daughter is requesting a copy of the Marauder's Map, too--lol. Methinks this project will cover ALL the walls (not just the one).Narnia?
It was on the SK website at some point. Ms. Mod addressed a question about it, but I can't remember the details.Yep, that's the one I was thinking of. I thought it was available for purchase? I thought it was! Maybe I can catch her tomorrow and ask her I know it can just be downloaded and printed offline, but I don't intend to do that unless she says so.It was on the SK website at some point. Ms. Mod addressed a question about it, but I can't remember the details.
Good idea!I tho

Where is Salems Lot?
Or Cumberland (Carrie)? That might be why it was pulled: to complete the map. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a Talisman map of America, too? I truly love that book--in my top 5 books by Mr. King.Where is Salems Lot?
Didn't realize Cumberland was fictional but i guess i should have guessed. I saw a picture where Salems Lot was in. There was also small paintings by each fictional place to remember what took place there. I remember that beside Castle Rock was a picture of a Sankt Bernhard. Saw it here on the board somewhere but don't remember where.Or Cumberland (Carrie)? That might be why it was pulled: to complete the map.
