What are you waiting for??????
I have downloaded an e-reader app to my phone but haven't ever purchased a book this way before... I've got the 'first time chickens'... but will work it out sometime when I get a spare few minutes.
I downloaded the Kindle for PC a while ago (it's free from Amazon) just so that I could read the e-book exclusives from King. I have trouble reading on a screen, but for the relatively short stories, it's okay. I doubt that I'd ever download a novel, though--just too hard on the eyes.

I hear ya, John. I'm the same way. I'd rather read it in book form but some of the stories aren't yet available so have to go with the Kindle PC app. Did you ever download Hard Listening? I did, and I've only read probably the first three pages- I keep forgetting that it's there!!!
I just came home from Walmart (be quiet, you people!) with the dvd's of Big Driver and A Good Marriage and the bluray of Horns. It's the only place I could find them- even my store (Fred Meyer) didn't have any of them in stock, even on the release days.

No, I don't have that. I get too easily distracted if I'm trying to listen at home. Just too much other things going on.

Not a work of fiction so should technically be referred to as an essay. It's called "Just A Little Talent". Here's the synopsis from the entry in the Library: Stephen writes about learning to play the guitar, his love of music, and talent.

I have read my first story in an Ereader!!!!! It was Poes A Tell-tale Heart. I think this will work for short stories but feel unsure about novellength stories. But i have UR, Mile 81 and In the Tall Grass downloaded. I'll will wait untill i go on my trip. Then i will actually have something good to read!!Let me know if you do it!
In regards to the e-reader talk I bought a kindle specifically for the exclusive short stories that SK and Joe Hill do for them.
