Done:
Take care of healing boy child
Long, mostly unproductive meeting (4.5 hrs, including driving time)
Inhale 2 pieces of pizza (forgot to eat breakfast, and lunch was a no-go, as most people at the meeting weren't speaking to one another by the end)
grocery store for the things I forgot yesterday
Thrift store stop
More flying emails between battling people

To do:
Drink wine
Drink Coke
Make hot wings and sweet tater fries
watch zombies (or maybe Stir of Echoes)

FAR prefer the To Do list to the Done list :) On the bright side, the meeting was held at a library that was having a book sale, so I bought 6 books to soothe my irritated heart. AND, I found a copy of Matheson's Stir of Echoes (I've been looking for one for a while) and a DVD my daughter wanted at the thrift store. The Man gave me a long-suffering sigh and then started talking about where we could put more bookshelves & whether we might find a good one at IKEA. He knows me so well-must be true love :)

Done:

Take care of sick wife.
Go pick up office supplies, take them to office.
Make yesterday's deposit.
Get car washed.
Talk to neighbors.
Go get groceries.
Do laundry.
Clean kitchen.
Office work.

Still to do:
Do some naggy home maintenance stuff - swap out some light bulbs, couple of which will need a ladder, try to do something that makes the yard green this year.
Keep taking care of sick wife.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Grandma's feeling better, but she's just resting and vegging out in front of the TV. I'm going to kick the home maintenance stuff under the rug now, do a little bit of writing, cook us some dinner, and then either do more writing or keep her company.

Kingaholic I just did my taxes on Friday, they were due in July last year. I just got my 2nd letter from the tax department, it's the 1st time I have taken so long to do them !!!
It's Sunday night here now but yesterday I went and looked at some second hand/antique stores that years ago used to be good but too expensive now. When I came home I didn't do much at all.

I hope you did not owe money!
Ours are due in April but I normally wait until hubby comes back home from up North to do them, so we can do them together.

We normally do ours in February right away... this is late for me! (So, not late by the April 15 standard....) I'm almost done with my Fed (worked on it some yesterday - great way to spend my week off!) - but my mornings are relaxing, get to be here, read, etc. since hubby is a late sleeper! Hope you can get your taxes done and squared away. You'll feel so much better!

Post office to mail (certified) tax returns (only state though, I'm getting a refund, since I owe on Fed, that can wait!)
Grocery Shopping
Dust etc. around the house
Pick up contact lenses
Go to the gym (if time allows)
Try to resist looking at my work email before Monday because I know it's going to be out of control....

1) Curse springtime. Every year my springtime allergies get worse. I'm pretty sure my head may explode at any moment today.

2) Make spouse understand that it is my allergies that are causing me to be cranky and quieter than usual, not anything that she has done...

3) Get on with my Saturday chores, disregarding allergies.
