One day last year, at my 14 year old daughter’s school, they had NFL jersey day. I told her I have several NY Jets jerseys that she could wear for the day. She said “NO WAY DAD. EVERYONE WILL LAUGH AT ME.” :(
This is priceless.

Hang in there DiO. Things have a way of coming around.

If you had told me 20 years ago that my favorite team would come to dominate the league to such an extent that the commissioner would fake a conspiracy in order to take them down, I would have laughed in your face.

IMO... New York Jets Women's Tackle Tank Top ($11.99), along with the Jets Women's Bikini Bottom in Green ($7.99), and the Big Logo Jets Flip Flops ($6.99) would make the ultimate ladies ensemble... and all for less than $27.00. :)

You won't see me wearing that ;;D

I'll just wear my Tebow Jets jersey just to mess with the haters LOL ;-D.

Can't blame a guy for tryin' :p

You have one too? I wore it to a Eagles/Jets preseason game once in Phila. A member of Eagles management actually came to my seat and asked me if I was nuts, and then took a picture of me surrounded by Eagles fans giving me nasty gestures. Hmmm... I'd like to ask that guy what he thinks now. :)

I'll give you credit for this^.

I've worn my Pats' colors in New Jersey and Miami and Tampa and Atlanta and Dallas and N'awlins and Minneapolis . . . did I get them all?

I've never seen a game in Philadelphia, but if I did I think I might wear civvies.

Those fans have a reputation.

But I did have some protection... My Phillies baseball cap, and two police officers in my group. Luckily for me the Eagles crushed the Jets that game and it was more of a day fulled with humiliation than anger displayed towards me. :)

Of course! Glad I'm not the only one who does! :) Haha, that's hysterical! I would like to know what that guy thinks, too! Mad that I missed his debut on the Eagles--have to keep my eye on some Eagles games to see how he does!
I really like Tim Tebow and been following him since his days on the Broncos. I think he's a good quarterback--not the GREATEST--but I enjoy watching him play. But, I really admire him as a person and I think he's very inspiring--I love the charity work that he does, especially with kids. It's refreshing to see a football player bring positivity on and off the field. I'm tired of seeing all these other footballers getting arrested for doing stupid things--they can learn a thing or two from him..........and that's just my two cents:a11:

What's funny about this is that, in the old days when the Pats were the laughingstock of the league, Sullivan (nee Schaefer -- you get that? The stadium was named after a beer) Stadium would be chock full of (mostly) drunken clowns who liked ragging opposing fans -- if there were any -- than jeering the slapstick comedy on the field.

Nowadays the Pats are the darlings of the NFL (for two incongruous reasons) and you have to take out a second mortgage to attend a game at Gillette. The good news is that fans who act the way I was likely to act in those days are not tolerated for very long.

Old-time Pats fans calls these people who sit quietly with their hands folded and only applaud at approved moments "pink hats," but the truth is that the team is good now and people want to see it.

The days when you could buy parking, a game ticket and three beers for $20 are over, and while the drunken fan has surely not been eradicated, he has to make a much larger investment if he wants to make a fool of himself in front of his favorite team.

I've only attended NFL games in Philadelphia and the Meadowlands. Although I can only go by what I see on TV for the other teams, but I think the Jets fans are the drunkest and the Eagles fans are the ugliest.

Isn't that kind of mandatory sometimes while watching a Jets game because you sort of want to forget what you're watching?

Or am I only speaking for myself? Yup, ok.....................;-D;;D

Well that proves it... you are a true Jets fan. :)

And that was you? I had a hell of a time trying to avoid those flying chunks. :)

Well . . . if Jets fans are the drunkest . . . can you really blame them?

; )
A Redskins fan, an Eagles fan, a Jets fan, and a Patriots fan are climbing a mountain and arguing about who loves his team more. The Redskins fan insists he is the most loyal. 'This is for the Redskins! ' he yells, and jumps off the side of the mountain. Not to be outdone, the Eagles fan shouts, 'This is for the Eagles!' and throws himself off the mountain. The Patriots fan is next to profess his love for his team. He yells, 'This is for everyone!' and pushes the Jets fan off the mountain.
