Just realized I've completed my reading goal for 2015 (75 full-length novels) three months early!

I probably wouldn't have finished so quickly, but there is no painkiller like a good book to get lost in. I've been in a fair amount of pain for a while now, and books always help me through.

Guess I'll make it 100 books for 2015!

I've started Ghost Road Blues by Jonathan Maberry. Read about third of it, 150 pages about, and so far i like it. I actually like that it doesn't throw us headfirst in the action, like Koontz often do, but take some time to introduce the characters. As a first part of a trilogy it makes sense. And it happens enough to keep you interested even if the big action hasn't started yet.

I am currently reading a novel called Heritage by Peter Driscoll (1982). It is a story about an French Algerian family and what happens to the family over the course of seventeen years (1945-1962) most of which takes place during the eight year War of Algerian Independence (1954-1962). It's a big epic novel and old-fashioned (see date of publication), but very well written and like all the better big epic novels engrossing.

stopped reading the novel for a few days, instead reading this for a bit. I looked up 'Stephen' in this book and it said something about it being a slang term for 'money' also King. There's a few entries for King. Also not Tabitha but 'Tabby'.

Big John Buscema Savage Sword of Conan. Man, can't nobody draw the Cimmerian like John B. Most of today's comics suck the monkey, takes about five minutes to read the crap. Not so with these vintage Savage Swords. Each issue takes around an hour to digest (any quicker and you aren't appreciating the art). No fancy computer colors, no sickening glossy paper. Just pen and ink on bloody newsprint, dogs--aye, what more need ye?
