I enjoyed the big rivalry between the Jets and Dolphins back in the day, because it was intense and always competitive, and the games even today keep that feeling. The big rivalry today between the Jets and Patriots, brought about by the Parcells-Belichick eras, is just pure ugly.

Watching the Duper clips reminded me of how well Marino threw deep balls. He didn't leave a lot of air under them either, he threw lasers that hit guys right in the hands. I remember when the dolphins signed Irving Fryar from the Pats and after a few weeks a reporter asked him about playing with Marino and he said, "I used to turn around and wait on the ball, now if I don't turn around, the ball is stuck in my ear hole."

Panthers remain undefeated........I'm happy!

Colt remain hapless........I'm unhappy. Of course, the Colts probably just feel sorry for their division rivals and don't want to run away with the division too soon. Yeah.... that's what it is.

I really hope they can turn it around soon, but not until after Peyton and the Broncos beat them into the ground.

Okay Arkansas fan, come on with it. I'm sure I've seen a Razorback in here somewhere.

I haven't seen a barnburner like that since Flutie v. Kosar (sorry Joe but not really).

Since Arkansas knocked off Ole Miss then the Alabama-LSU game really is for all the marbles. Hopefully, Alabama takes it. I'm nervous as always. Gonna be a good one.

I just saw the highlight of the backward hail-Mary. That was almost as crazy as the Canes play last week. ;-D

I was watching the 4th down play live and I thought the same thing the ball-carrier thought. I forgot Arkansas could get a first down and thought the game was over. Then they got saved by a penalty on the two-point conversion in overtime. The whole thing was crazy.

Alabama nails a 55 yard field goal. I'm shocked. In a good way.

Very surprising, as poor as the Tide kicking game has been of late, but beyond that, there is some serious crunching going on in this game.

Serious crunching.

more like forever ;-D Do they even kick field goals in high school in Alabama? I can't figure out why it's so hard for the Tide to get kickers.

I still have nightmares from the "Kick Six." As well as just about every missed field goal from "the Game of the Century" against LSU a few years ago.

I don't understand it myself. I've been saying for years we need some kind of kicking game. From somewhere. Someone in some part of this world must surely know how to make a field goal on a consistent basis and want to play for Alabama.

However, I will gladly cease and desist on all kicking complaints if Adam Griffith can use that made field goal as a chance to turn it around.
