I like a lotta stuff most folk think is gross. Sardines, smoked oysters, raw oysters. Oh man, I really dig me some oysters. Jiggle them slimy old things atop a soda cracker, shake a little Sriracha or cocktail sauce on it, and down she goes. Good eatin.

Love oysters. Love to eat herring outta the jar or the can. With or without crackers.

Oh gosh, I was a huge junk food junkie! Nacho cheese Doritos were my kryptonite.

Now, my options are pretty limited. I enjoy those Stacy's cinnamon and sugar pita chips, and my husband makes some guac that, while simple, is delicious. I'd have to say carob chips are my go-to munchies these days though.

Dangit, now I'm hungry!

I'm sad for you. I know it must be a healthy and fantastic way to live. But sometimes you just got to have some really bad stuff.

These bring back memories for me. The mid 80s, watching softball games at the highschool, eating Combos and drinking Coke fountain drink. Cold, cheers from bleachers, hotdog and onion smell from concession stand.
Gotta be the pretzel ones, though. Those cracker things are horrible.
I swear, Combos are the only reason I don't weigh 90 pounds right now.

 Don't feel sad! I felt like death warmed over most of the time back then, and now I feel almost normal! I just remind myself of how awful I felt all the time, and that's usually enough to make me think, "nah" whenever I'm tempted to go out and grab some Cheetos or something.

And the holidays are a great time for me! They mean cookies, and fruitcake, and pumpkin pie, and the best egg nog ever! Not to mention the dinners we come up with....mmmmm. :biggrin2:

 No that isn't grocery shopping, one nugget of that however will lead to a $300 cart full of munchies, that have nothing to due with regular grocery shopping. I remember working at Wall-Mart before the green stuff was legal but already a publicly accepted common vice; this one guy always came in smelling like grass and always bought Cheetos and Orange soda.

You will have fun when you come to Colorado to visit the Stanley hotel; don't forget to explore boulder where recreational marijuana is legal but smoking in public isn't.

...I would love to imbibe....though with my luck, as soon as I returned to work-I'd get sent out for a random drug screen, which as a state employee I'm subject too....somehow they won't buy the whole "When in Colorado" jive.......dammit.....

I'll go with the raw sugar snap peas, like Patricia A. Used to grow them. Candy!

Candy? Heath bar. Popcorn, if I don't eat too much. Then bleh.

Oysters? Too big.. Sometimes I will eat em, but it's like like chewing on a tongue. ei!
Not that I actually ever chewed on a tongue. Don't think so, anyway.

Clams and shrimp, yes. Hot horseradishy cocktail sauce.

You can't actually get pot in grocery stores in Colorado, but it's only fair - you can't get wine or hard liquor either. Specialty stores only.

I haven't been tempted, even legally. At my age, I need to preserve all the brain cells that I can that alcohol isn't already killing off.
...I figured liberal only went so far...I'm no aficionado of dank, but in my misused youth I was known to toke a few sticks...maybe it's just yearning for me at that age...less jaundiced in world view and about 90 pounds lighter...munchies or no...I miss that me...

Washington too!
The first time I went into a legal shop to buy my first legal weed I was so happy! I felt like I had stepped through a thinny into a kinder gentler level of the universe. (I was still shaking like a Chihuahua though)The young man who was helping me asked me what kind of buzz I preferred. Me being me, I said mellow.
He pulled a little bag out from behind the counter called The Shining. I said, that's absolutely perfect.
I bought it then went to the regular, just food store and what did I find? Moon Pies. Different story, but I was sensing a theme, so I rolled with it. Pun intended.
I went home, tested the mellow, ate a couple of pies and was pleased with all things, and thought to myself M O O N, that spells... ummm I forget.
