I know I feel better when I eat healthy. I fall short more often than not but, one thing I have been doing the past few months that has helped me feel better all the way around is, believe it or not, drinking plenty of water. I cut out drinking 90% of the soda and sweet tea I drink and replaced it with water. It's weird how really refreshing water is. No, what's weird is that every time I drink water instead of soda I am surprised that it's so good and satisfying. Every time. Go figure.Don't feel sad! I felt like death warmed over most of the time back then, and now I feel almost normal! I just remind myself of how awful I felt all the time, and that's usually enough to make me think, "nah" whenever I'm tempted to go out and grab some Cheetos or something.
And the holidays are a great time for me! They mean cookies, and fruitcake, and pumpkin pie, and the best egg nog ever! Not to mention the dinners we come up with....mmmmm.
